🎁 Watermore Children's Christmas Gift Shop 🎄
Give your child the chance to choose a special little Christmas gift for someone they love — all by themselves!
Our Watermore Children's Christmas Gift Shop will be set up in the school library on 4 December, during the school day. Children will be taken in small groups to choose their pre-purchased gifts for the special adult(s) in their lives.
There will be one unwrapped example of each gift on display to help them make their choice. Once they’ve decided, they’ll be given their carefully wrapped present to bring home and hide under the Christmas tree. 🤫
But will they manage to keep the secret until Christmas Day?!
🎄 How it works
Each gift costs £5.
When ordering, you’ll need to tell us whether each gift is for an adult male or adult female.
You’ll also need to tell us which child will be choosing each gift, so we can make sure their gifts are ready for them on the day.
Siblings will visit the shop together

Orders must be placed by Saturday 31 October. This gives our Watermore PTFA Christmas elves plenty of time to purchase all the gifts and get them wrapped and ready for the children. 🎅✨
Every purchase helps our PTFA provide those little extras that make such a difference to life at Watermore — from class Christmas presents and library books to school trips and workshops. Your support goes directly back to our pupils.

Quiz night
Join us on Friday, 13th November 2026 for a lighthearted trivia night raising vital funds for Watermore PTFA. Every penny raised goes directly toward enhancing facilities, equipment, and experiences for the children at Watermore Primary School.
Test your knowledge across music, film, sport, food & drink, and more—with prizes up for grabs for our winning team!
Date: Friday, 13th November 2026
Timings: Doors open at 7:30 PM | First question at 7:45 PM
Location: Watermore Primary School Hall
Tickets: £4 per person (Maximum team size: 6 people)
Refreshments: A fully stocked bar will be running on the night, offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to keep your brains hydrated! You can bring your own snacks, but please note Watermore School operates a no nut policy so please leave them at home.

Wreath Workshop
Create a festive wreath with other Watermore families while helping us fund extra opportunities for our children 🎄. No experience needed—our friendly team will guide you step by step, and all basic materials are provided.
There’ll be a mince pie on arrival and you can bring any drinks you’d like to enjoy during the evening - yes it’s BYO!
Every ticket supports PTFA projects such as playground upgrades, library book refreshes, and school trips. 🎁

Gin Tasting
A Gin tasting event is a fun, sociable experience where you get to try different gins, discover new flavours and learn how to make the perfect gin and tonic.
It’s an ideal night out with friends.

Sip & Paint
Unwind with an evening of creativity, conversation, and a glass (or two) at our Sip & Paint 🎨🍷.
No experience needed - just come ready to relax, try something new, and have a laugh with other Watermore parents, carers, and friends.
There’ll be a welcome drink for you on arrival, and you can choose from:
a glass of prosecco
a can of cider or lager
a can of soft drink
There’ll also be a bar available throughout the evening if you’d like to purchase more drinks.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to Watermore PTFA, helping to support and enhance the children’s learning at school.
More than that, this is a lovely chance to catch up with other parents, teachers and friends, while supporting our wonderful Watermore Primary School.

Watermore RunFest
The Watermore RunFest is here! 🎉
Thank you to everyone who took part last year — we’re excited to bring the event back and make it even bigger and better in 2026.
This year we’re also introducing a 5K option for anyone who feels the 10K might be a little too far, but still wants to get involved and support the fundraising effort. Whether you run, jog, or walk, we’d love to see you there!

📍 Location: Watermore Primary School
🕘 Registration opens: 9:00am
🏁 Race starts: 10:00am
Important Information
Please familiarise yourself with the race route in advance – roads will not be closed.
Running surfaces vary along the route, particularly at Crossbow and Hilly Fields.
Please listen to the safety briefing before the race begins.
Headphones are discouraged for safety reasons.
There will be a water station on the route, but runners are encouraged to bring their own bottle.
Event Merchandise
You can also purchase a Watermore RunFest hoodie when you enter — perfect for proudly showing off your achievement! Hoodies will be given out after the race.
Finish Line Rewards
Every runner will receive a medal, t-shirt (for those who book in time) and goodie bag at the finish line, packed with tasty treats and a little celebratory tipple to reward your efforts… 🍻🍬
After the Race
Join us back at the school for BBQ, cakes, and entertainment to celebrate your achievement! 🍔🍰
Affiliated Runner
An affiliated runner is someone who is a member of a running club that is registered with a recognised running organisation.
Rainbow Run 🌈
Please arrive before 12:00pm to collect your wristbands.
Party Peeps will gather everyone on the Watermore playing field at midday.
The first race will start at 12:30pm. Children will be split according to year group, and there’ll be a low key, quieter rainbow run for those who’d prefer this option too.
Summer Fayre
We can’t wait to welcome you all to this years Summer Fayre. We have lots of new games this year as well as all your favourites. So grab your picnic blankets and deck chairs and join us for a fun filled afternoon the whole family can enjoy.

The PTFA are organising a LEGO keyring fundraiser.
Fab Bricks make personalised LEGO® brick keyrings. Order yours for just £3.25 each, and for each one you buy, our school receives £1.00!
Order in three easy steps: 1. Pick your colour 2. Pick your font 3. Write the text you would like then Fab Bricks Will send your personalised keyring to school in time for Christmas.
There will also be an option to order personalised gift tags at a cost of £5.

🎅 Visit Santa’s Grotto 🎄
Add a touch of magic to the festive season and make a date with Santa at the Watermore School PTFA Winter Fayre!
Book a timed slot for your child (and any siblings) to visit Santa in his cosy grotto. Children will enjoy a festive storytime with Santa and receive a small chocolate gift to take home (please let us know if your child has dietary requirements).

🪵 Log Slice Bauble Workshop 🎄
Join us for a fun and festive Log Slice Bauble Workshop at the Watermore School PTFA Winter Fayre!
Children will get creative making their very own log slice bauble, choosing from a selection of festive designs available to view on the day. Each child will decorate and personalise their bauble to take home as a special keepsake or gift.
The session will be supervised and will last around 30 minutes, taking place during the fayre.
Cost: £3.50 per child

🎄Gingerbread Decorating Workshop 🍪
Join us for a fun and festive Gingerbread Decorating Workshop at the Watermore School PTFA Winter Fayre!
Children will get creative decorating a delicious homemade gingerbread biscuit to take home and enjoy. The session will be supervised and will last around 30 minutes, taking place during the fayre.
Cost: £3.50 per child

We can’t run the Winter Fayre without the help of volunteers. Please do consider donating just 30 minutes of your time to help run a stall. you can sign up HERE!
Along with the workshops and Santa’s Grotto, the winter fayre will have games, raffles, tombola, Elfridges handmade stall, music, choir performance and a free craft room. Phew!!!
Once you’ve worked up an appetite why not visit our cafe, bar and bbq for all of those festive treats.

The Great Watermore Elf Mix-Up!
One magical December evening Father Christmas sent 19 busy elves to deliver presents to the children of Watermore Primary School.
They polished their boots, straightened their hats, and set off feeling very excited. But oh no - somewhere along the way they got all mixed up and scattered everywhere. Can you help find all 19 elves and get them back to Father Christmas?
The elves are lost all over the village. As you walk around look carefully for these silly elves. When you find one make sure to write down their names and send a photo of your answer sheet by 31st December 2025 to: winterfayre@watermoreptfa.co.uk

Join us for a cosy, festive evening of creativity and cheer! Learn how to craft your very own beautiful winter wreath for your front door, guided by one of our talented parents.
We’ll provide everything you need — a wreath base, fresh greenery, trimmings, and plenty of friendly advice to help you make something truly special.
To keep spirits bright, enjoy a glass of Prosecco and a mince pie on us while you work your festive magic! ✨
