Watermore RunFest
The Watermore RunFest is here! 🎉
Thank you to everyone who took part last year — we’re excited to bring the event back and make it even bigger and better in 2026.
This year we’re also introducing a 5K option for anyone who feels the 10K might be a little too far, but still wants to get involved and support the fundraising effort. Whether you run, jog, or walk, we’d love to see you there!

Event Details
📍 Location: Watermore Primary School
🕘 Registration opens: 9:00am
🏁 Race starts: 10:00am
Important Information
Please familiarise yourself with the race route in advance – roads will not be closed.
Running surfaces vary along the route, particularly at Crossbow and Hilly Fields.
Please listen to the safety briefing before the race begins.
Headphones are discouraged for safety reasons.
There will be a water station on the route, but runners are encouraged to bring their own bottle.
Event Merchandise
You can also purchase a Watermore RunFest hoodie when you enter — perfect for proudly showing off your achievement! Hoodies will be given out after the race.
Finish Line Rewards
Every runner will receive a medal, t-shirt (for those who book in time) and goodie bag at the finish line, packed with tasty treats and a little celebratory tipple to reward your efforts… 🍻🍬
After the Race
Join us back at the school for BBQ, cakes, and entertainment to celebrate your achievement! 🍔🍰
Affiliated Runner
An affiliated runner is someone who is a member of a running club that is registered with a recognised running organisation.
Rainbow Run 🌈
Please arrive before 12:00pm to collect your wristbands.
Party Peeps will gather everyone on the Watermore playing field at midday.
The first race will start at 12:30pm. Children will be split according to year group, and there’ll be a low key, quieter rainbow run for those who’d prefer this option too.
Fab Bricks Fundraiser
Calling all LEGO fans!!
The PTFA are organising a LEGO keyring fundraiser.
Fab Bricks make personalised LEGO® brick keyrings. Order yours for just £3.25 each, and for each one you buy, our school receives £1.00!
Order in three easy steps: 1. Pick your colour 2. Pick your font 3. Write the text you would like then Fab Bricks Will send your personalised keyring to school in time for Christmas.
There will also be an option to order personalised gift tags at a cost of £5.
Members of the PTFA will be on hand to take orders at drop off and pick up times, both parents evenings, wreath making and at the Winter Fayre.

Winter Fayre
🎅 Visit Santa’s Grotto 🎄
Add a touch of magic to the festive season and make a date with Santa at the Watermore School PTFA Winter Fayre!
Book a timed slot for your child (and any siblings) to visit Santa in his cosy grotto. Children will enjoy a festive storytime with Santa and receive a small chocolate gift to take home (please let us know if your child has dietary requirements).

🪵 Log Slice Bauble Workshop 🎄
Join us for a fun and festive Log Slice Bauble Workshop at the Watermore School PTFA Winter Fayre!
Children will get creative making their very own log slice bauble, choosing from a selection of festive designs available to view on the day. Each child will decorate and personalise their bauble to take home as a special keepsake or gift.
The session will be supervised and will last around 30 minutes, taking place during the fayre.
Cost: £3.50 per child

🎄Gingerbread Decorating Workshop 🍪
Join us for a fun and festive Gingerbread Decorating Workshop at the Watermore School PTFA Winter Fayre!
Children will get creative decorating a delicious homemade gingerbread biscuit to take home and enjoy. The session will be supervised and will last around 30 minutes, taking place during the fayre.
Cost: £3.50 per child

We can’t run the Winter Fayre without the help of volunteers. Please do consider donating just 30 minutes of your time to help run a stall. you can sign up HERE!
Along with the workshops and Santa’s Grotto, the winter fayre will have games, raffles, tombola, Elfridges handmade stall, music, choir performance and a free craft room. Phew!!!
Once you’ve worked up an appetite why not visit our cafe, bar and bbq for all of those festive treats.

The Great Watermore Elf Mix-Up!
One magical December evening Father Christmas sent 19 busy elves to deliver presents to the children of Watermore Primary School.
They polished their boots, straightened their hats, and set off feeling very excited. But oh no - somewhere along the way they got all mixed up and scattered everywhere. Can you help find all 19 elves and get them back to Father Christmas?
The elves are lost all over the village. As you walk around look carefully for these silly elves. When you find one make sure to write down their names and send a photo of your answer sheet by 31st December 2025 to: winterfayre@watermoreptfa.co.uk

Christmas Wreath Workshop
Join us for a cosy, festive evening of creativity and cheer! Learn how to craft your very own beautiful winter wreath for your front door, guided by one of our talented parents.
We’ll provide everything you need — a wreath base, fresh greenery, trimmings, and plenty of friendly advice to help you make something truly special.
To keep spirits bright, enjoy a glass of Prosecco and a mince pie on us while you work your festive magic! ✨

On Friday 13th December during school hours children can visit the Christmas gift shop to choose and wrap a present for their parent or carer. Presents are £5 each and must be paid for in advance by 25th October to allow the Elves to stock the shop.
